Animal Welfare
Regulations and PHS Policy require institutions to ensure that people
caring for or using animals are qualified to do so. We, as the
institution, are charged with providing training opportunities to meet
these regulations. We have a resource library located in our main
office with different videos and reference books. We also have
identified the following locations for additional training. If you
would like more information, please contact our office (405-744-3592).
New IACUC Policy
- The Committee has recently passed an Investigator Training Program
policy (IACUC-006). Look under "Governing
Animal Use" to find and read this new policy. Training
sessions will be held approximately once a month. Check these
pages often for the schedule.
